How to find your PTAN through PECOS
PECOS is an indescribably terrible government website designed to inflict maximal psychological pain on physicians across the country. Here's how to find your PTAN through it.
- Sign into PECOS at https://pecos.cms.hhs.gov/pecos/login.do#headingLv1
- Select "My Associates" on PECOS home page
- Select "View Enrollments" by applicable individual or organizational enrollment
- Click on "View Medicare ID Report"
- PTAN or PTANs are listed in Medicare ID column
